Trying to work out some bugs in my email program – if you have subscribed to this blog I think you have not been receiving updates lately, so I’ll refer you to my last post with links for discount – Last Post. And I have extended the $10 off $20 deal through end of February.
I also was informed that the photos are too large in my posts and that causes the print to be too tiny. So I am trying to fix that.
Working on pattern for next CAL – here is a sneak peek:
Four Winds Afghan, formerly our MysteryGhan 2021, is complete and pattern has been updated with photos. Still available at half price for a limited time on Ravelry and Etsy. I could see myself using aspects of this design in other projects – the Harlequin stitch and color sequence could be used in a full blanket. The Daisy Mandalas could be turned into a hexagon or octagon and worked into another full afghan. The black and white border is also versatile.
Resplendant Afghan CAL is ongoing on my Ravelry board. The pattern is included in the Fall 2021 edition of Interweave Crochet. If you need yarn for the project, please click through my links here on the blog and I’ll get a commission.
Be sure to check out the BOGO – Buy One, Get One Free Sale in my Ravelry and Etsy shops – now through November 21, 2021. Coupon Code BOGO21. Put two patterns in cart and lowest priced pattern is free! Many prices have been recently rolled back so time to take advantage. What do you have your eye on?
I’ve got a few new patterns in the works, but in the meantime, here is a discount on an easy project, good for a beginner or for using up scraps or just for when you need some mindless crochet. Use Coupon Code EASY on Ravelry for 50% off the price of Easy Like Sunday Morning, bringing the price to $3.49 – good for a limited time, expires March 31, 2021. I was reminded of this pattern by a recent lovely version completed by Grandma10 on Ravelry.
Pattern contains written instructions as well as a chart. From the description, “Solid squares in 2 colors, with “no holes” corners and a clean contemporary look. Easy enough for the beginner, with chart and thoroughly tested written directions. 48” x 72” requires 16 skeins of Vanna’s Choice.”

2020 has been a rough year, but I think we can see some hope in the distance as the vaccine is distributed. As a frontline healthcare worker, I received mine last week, and while I did feel my immune response kick in with a mild headache and fatigue for a day or two, I am so happy to be part of the beginning of the end of this pandemic.

Sometimes the days pass so quickly, and before you know it we are into a new month. That’s how I feel about the Summer this year! With the kids out of school since March, it’s hard to keep up! But this hot weather here in New York is beginning to remind me.
Hope you are all enjoying your crochet these days. I am currently working stealthily on a new design which I cannot discuss, and I have an upcoming square in the Moogly CAL in September, but other than that I am just playing along with ideas and using up stash on some of my older designs. I was thinking of doing a free CAL to one of the older designs in the Fall, maybe Deco’Ghan.
I really like the Ophelia Blanket and the All the Colors Blanket to use up stash.
