Granny Square Month CAL

Granny Square Month CAL 2026

You know how I love all manner of Granny Squares. I love the endless design possibilities and the portable nature of a well-designed crocheted square. Crochet now, assemble when the weather is cooler. I’ve crocheted my fair share sitting on the sidelines of the field and pool, and in the car road-tripping, and this summer will be no different. When I saw this exciting project for Granny Square Month in June, I knew I was all in and that it is something perfect for my crocheting friends. The 8” size really appeals to me, and I find it perfect for a blanket, tote bag, cardigan, or that coat I have been working on for a while. If you are ready for your next granny square project, this new crochet along and bundle is perfect for you!

I’m joining 20 of my crochet designer buddies for the 2026 Granny Square Month Crochet Along and Crochet Pattern Bundle. Curated by my friend Marie at Underground Crafter, every day in June, there will be a new featured pattern for an 8” granny square which you can get for free on the designer’s blog. Or, you can grab the entire bundle to get instant access to all 30 included patterns in a downloadable and printable ebook now at a deep discount! There are modified classics, florals, textured blocks, and even some lacy squares. The Granny Square Month CAL and Crochet Pattern Bundle celebrates granny squares!

Marie leads a Facebook Page and Ravelry Chat Board to support this CAL. You can join in, show off photos, and share the excitement of a new design every day in June as you assemble your own masterpiece with these squares. You can also chat on my Ravelry Board.

I have a new pattern included in this bundle which will be released soon! My pattern is called Junie Afghan Square and it is a textured, easily memorized square. Basic stitches, with some front and back post stitches, but it is an intermediate/adventurous beginner level square that packs a lot of punch!

My pattern will be released free on my blog on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, but it is available right now in the presale with all 30 patterns at a deep discount price. BONUS: If you purchase through my link you will receive 2 free patterns from my Ravelry Store – your choice!

Support the indie designers you know and love (and find some new-to-you folks to follow) when you join the 2026 Granny Square Month Crochet Along and shop the Crochet Pattern Bundle. You can also get all 30 right now patterns at a deep discount, including my BONUS- Two free patterns from my Ravelry Store – your choice!

Last chance! You can still grab the Crochet Pattern Bundle for 82% off through July 5, 2026 at 11:59pm Eastern. After that, it’s gone forever!
