This week completes the first four weeks, and finishes the one cake of Anniversary Cakes if that is what you are using. If you are using a thinner yarn or just wish to expand with more of the super-bulky, I have about fourteen more rounds to come in Week 5 to give you an idea of the final size.

N-V stitch – narrow V- stitch: (dc, ch 1, dc) in st or sp

Round 29: Join Color C with sc in first dc of any group, sc in next st, sk sc, (NV-st in next ch-1 sp, sk sc, sc in next 2 dc, sk sc) 59 times, NV-st in next ch-1 st, sk sc, sl st to first sc. (60 NV-st, 120 sc)

Round 30: Ch 1, sc in same and next st, ( 2 sc in next ch-1 sp, sc in next 2 sc) 59 times, 2 sc in next ch-1 sp, sl st to first sc.(240 sc)

Round 31: Ch 1, sc in same st, (ch 3, sk 2 st, sc in next st) 79 times, ch 3, sk 2 st, sl st to first sl st, fasten off. (80 sc, 80 ch-3 sp)

Round 32: Join Color D with standing dc in any ch-3 sp, (dc, ch 2) in same sp, (2 dc, ch 2 in next ch-3 sp) 79 times, sl st to top of first dc. (160 dc, 80 ch-2 sp)

Round 33: Sl st in next dc and ch-2 sp, ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in same sp, (ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-2 sp) 79 times, ch 1, sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (240 dc, 80 ch-1 sp)

Round 34: Sl st in next 2 st and in ch-1 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, (ch 4, sk 3 st, sc in next sp) 79 times, ch 4, sk 3 st, sl st to first sc. (80 sc, 80 ch-4 sp)

Round 35: Sl st in ch-4 sp, ch 1 [(sc, dc, ch 1, dc, sc) in ch-3 sp] 80 times, sl st to first sc. (160 sc, 160 dc, 80 ch-1 sp)

Round 36: Slip stitch in BLO in each st, join to first sl st. (400 st)
