What is the difficulty or experience needed to crochet the Garden State afghan?
Hi Eileen, Some of the motifs are beginner level, but most are intermediate/experienced. Cluster stitches and careful pattern-reading are necessary. Try it and see! Check out my free patterns for my writing style.
I’m so excited to start this CAL, but I will be leaving for Spring Break Vacation a few days before the start date. I will be with four teenagers & a nine year old. Yikes! I can’t wait to sit on the balcony listening to the surf with a new crochet project. Is there any way to let me know what colors to take along for the first week so I can pack as light as possible?
