Description

Resplendent Afghan presents an update of the classic granny square, using a similar easy and rhythmic technique, while adding visual and textural interest with post stitches. The charcoal borders soften the often-seen black borders of a traditional granny blanket, but like your favorite granny, this is a pattern that presents endless possibilities for color variation and is suitable for all types of yarn.
This pattern is suitable for the beginning crocheter who has mastered the post stitch. The last round of the motif can be varied for a different look; two options are given.
