Description

Basic stitches (double crochet, single crochet, slip stitch) with a careful slip stitch join and a camel stitch (third loop) border option.

8″ Motif – 44″ x 60″ as shown, adjust number of motifs as desired.

To mount my afghan as wall art, I purchased an inexpensive 36” x 48” canvas at the craft store. With this size canvas, there was a light wooden frame with a stabilizer bar running vertically down the center. I stretched and smoothed out the afghan to evenly match the motifs to the edges and wrapped the afghan around the edges and stapled it to the wooden frame of the canvas. I also ran a line of staples into the center piece of wood through the front.
