New Pattern – Hexaflower

Hexaflower Motif and Half-Motif
I love to crochet with Caron Cakes; the wool/acrylic blend is enjoyable to work with and the colors are fabulous. Each skein features five bright colors and I designed this motif to use precisely the amount of yarn in one color change; you will get seven motifs from each skein. Eight skeins will give you a nice size throw of about 45” x 58” but size is up to you.

The pattern can also be used for a three-color motif. Pattern for a half-motif is included, border pattern is not included. A few post stitches and clusters but mostly basic crochet stitches.

Purchase this pattern and take advantage of my Buy One, Get One Free in my Ravelry Store until May 11, 2018. Place two patterns in your shopping cart and the lower priced pattern will be free.

New Afghan Square Design – English Garden Afghan Square

Here is my new 12″ Afghan Square Pattern – Called English Garden Afghan Square.  I was inspired by lovely formal gardens and the misty bright colors of Scheepjes Stone Washed XL.  This design is currently for sale on Ravelry and would look wonderful as a full afghan.  I was thinking of switching up the colors on each block but using the same pattern for all squares.

The pattern is suitable for the intermediate crocheter or adventurous beginner.  There are a few rounds which require very careful pattern-reading but it’s fun with a satisfying result.  I am presenting this block as a guest designer on Margaret MacInnis’ Ravelry board, where we are CAL’ing to 12″ afghan blocks in her BAMMM SHAZAAM 2016 CAL.  Check it out!  Here is a discount coupon code to take $3.00 off the price, good until end of 2016.  BAMMM2016

New Pattern – Jillian’s Ribbed Cowl

FullSizeRender

Jillian’s Ribbed Cowl on Ravelry.com

This is a fast and easy crocheted rib cowl, inspired by a knit ribbed cowl from the Gap that my daughter Jillian received for Christmas. We love its simplicity and unfussy style. I whipped it up in no time with 2 skeins of Vanna’s Choice (of course) but you could go as scrumptious as you’d like with about 340 yards of a worsted or aran weight yarn. No problem for beginners.

I am making this the first of my “Customer Loyalty” patterns, with free coupon code LOYAL1 available to anyone who has purchased one of my previous patterns.

Enjoy! and can’t wait to see what you come up with. Maybe a variegated, self-striping, hmm.
