Joanita Theron is the creative force behind the Creative Crochet Workshop blog and has contributed a beautiful block for our CAL called Blooming Lily of the Water Square.  It is a fun and interesting design, and Joanita has recently updated the patterns last rounds to fit our CAL.  I also love Joanita’s Four Point Butterfly Granny Square.  Check out all her designs!

Belated best wishes for Independence Day in the US – this week we have Patriotic Plaid Square by Cylinda Mathews of Crochet Memories.com. I was lucky enough to participate in one of Cylinda’s Crochet Alongs a few years back and now she is kindly returning the favor.  Patriotic Plaid is an interesting twist on the granny square, and really enjoyable to stitch.
