This week’s block is an interesting adventurous block from Pam Knighton-Haener called Kinnedy Nichelle.  This block can look so different depending on color placement, and my two-color version does not do it justice!  Thank you, Pam, for a wonderful addition to our CAL! Joanita Theron is the creative force behind the Creative Crochet Workshop blog and has contributed a beautiful block for our CAL called Blooming Lily of the Water Square.  It is a fun and interesting design, and Joanita has recently updated the patterns last rounds to fit our CAL.  I also love Joanita’s Four Point Butterfly Granny Square.  Check out all her designs!

This week we have a beautiful and intricate square, Rebirth by Magdalene Lee. This is a well-designed square that will keep you on your toes with a satisfying result. Maggie is a talented designer – I love her Blair Road blanket – and I look forward to seeing her future designs.

Belated best wishes for Independence Day in the US – this week we have Patriotic Plaid Square by Cylinda Mathews of Crochet Memories.com. I was lucky enough to participate in one of Cylinda’s Crochet Alongs a few years back and now she is kindly returning the favor.  Patriotic Plaid is an interesting twist on the granny square, and really enjoyable to stitch.
